Telecentre-Europe Summit 2009
The Telecentre-Europe Summit 2009 will take place from 14 to 15 of October in Istanbul, Turkey and will bring together up to 120 telecentre networks’ leaders and executives. The event will be managed by the Telecentre-Europe Steering Committee and Youth for Habitat, and has been kindly sponsored by Microsoft and the Turkish Government. The Summit will continue the success of the Telecentre Leaders Forum, held in Riga in April 2008.
In addition to a number of high-level keynote speakers, this will be an opportunity for you to meet (again) with other senior strategic telecentre network leaders, and help to shape the future plans for the network. You will learn about a number of significant strategic opportunities for members of Telecentre-Europe, and help to shape the development of the organisation. The Summit will also see the launch of a number of thematic resources that will be of direct benefit to member networks. Each resource will be presented to attending members, and will be available to them online after the event under following five themes – Employability, Accessibility, Capacity building, Citizenship, and Sustainability.
