First party for internet users above 50 in Hungary

Forum of Hungarian IT Organizations for Information Society (Inforum) invites internet users above 50 and those who are committed to spreading internet usage for a party to celebrate the Day of Information Society together.

The event will be organized in the frame of the eInclusion year 2008 with the aim of urging internet users to help, encourage, educate those who has not achieve digital literacy yet. Therefore Inforum invites to this event those who are willing to support spreading digital literacy. The Hungarian ICT NGO invites those who promote the idea of eInclusion and build a modern Hungary. Inforum invites IT experts, telecommunication experts, teachers, mentors, librarians, helpers, journalists and their friends. And principally Inforum invites the representatives of the smallest internet user group, the internet users group above 50.

14 % of this age group are internet users, these are the elite of their age group, who would like to stay active, dynamic and open to the World. They realised that the communication technology gives them opportunity to preserve their freshness of their mind and soul and avoid social isolation.

These people above 50 with digital literacy could be exemplary for those who have not achieved it yet.

The party will be held on the 17 of May, in the Millenaris Teatrum, Budapest.
